This Producer Agreement may be used by Artists or Producers when recording masters.

It explains the parties, recording budget, producer recording fee payment, ownership of masters, and other legal aspects needed for producer agreements.  This is a must for anyone producing recordings for artists or for artists hiring producers so that the master ownership, payment, and other provisions are clearly spelled out to reduce future disputes between artist and producer.  Please note this agreement does not address master buyouts or future royalty payments.

This Producer Agreement has been prepared by an attorney licensed to practice in the State of California for California residents and under California laws.
